Suzan Fuller Worrell of Scottsdale passed away after a sudden illness on February 15,
2023 at age 81.
She enjoyed a 35-year successful career in education and spent the majority of her time
teaching in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. Suzy is survived, loved and
greatly missed by her daughter Kelly Noffsinger and husband Scott, grandson Addison
Noffsinger, brother Thomas Fuller and niece Rebecca Fuller of Flagstaff, Arizona and
many cousins and friends.
A third generation Arizonan, Suzan was born in Phoenix in March of 1941, the daughter
of Val and R. Bud Fuller. Having graduated from South Mountain High School, she
matriculated to Arizona State University where she earned her Education and Master’s
degrees. Suzy was a member of Alpha Phi sorority.
Active and involved in community groups, Suzy was a member of the Junior League of
Phoenix, the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, and attended All Saints’ Episcopal Church. She
enjoyed horseback riding, traveling, and was an avid reader. She had a great love for
animals her whole life.
As per Suzy’s wishes, there will be no services and her ashes will be interred in Pine,
AZ. Please consider a donation on Suzy’s behalf to the Arizona Humane Society or the
Phoenix Zoo.
