Steven Finocchio Obituary

Steven Michael Finocchio was born on October 28, 1964. He passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2021 at the age of 56. The cause of death is yet to be determined. Steven was born in Long Beach California to Arthur Finocchio and Judith Suzanne Finocchio. Steven enjoyed life! When he was a child he traveled around the country with his family in an extra large over the cab pickup truck and camper. It was a trip, literally – many trips. While riding in the top bed of the camper, he was able to look out the window and watch the country side go by. Steven visited place’s like New York, NY, Miami Beach and Key West, FL, Kitty Hawk, NC, Bangor, ME and many others. He went to the top of the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, behind Niagara Falls and up the east coast to the very same sand dunes on the beaches of North Carolina where Wilbur and Orville Wright flew the first airplane. He got dazzled by the magic of both Disney Land and Walt Disney World, the splendor of Florida’s Key West. Cruising the beaches and boardwalk at the tender age of 12, Steve’s big brown eyes literally charmed thousands of bikini babes as they passed by him during Spring Break. He has crossed the wide open spaces in Texas and looked small as he admired the grandeur and greatness of places like Mount Rushmore, the black hills, bad lands in South Dakota, and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Steven loved to camp and fish, and to explore mountains around his home in Mesa Arizona. Steven loved riding motorcycles. He grew up in Ohio just south east of Cleveland in the small city of Solon, where he learned to ride, race, and jump them. He the bought a Harley Davidson, the motorcycle of his dreams. Steven never finished high school but he did get the equivalent his GED. He was mechanically inclined and worked well with his hands. He could repair cars as well as build things out of wood. Steven never married and stayed single his entire adult life. However he does have a daughter. He was a good friend and had an infectious smile.

He is survived by his daughter, Madison Mcgraw, his brother, Arthur Finocchio, his sister, Karla Finocchio, his Uncle, Manny Finocchio, (Sue). His Uncle, John Sykora, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Finocchio and mother Judith Suzanne Finocchio (Sykora).
