Entrepreneur and Phoenix business owner Linda Verne Martin (78)
passed away from multiple injuries sustained in an automobile
accident on November 24, 2021. Born October 7,1943 in Marietta,
Georgia to the late William Harvey Martin and Nita Martin, Linda grew
up in Cassville, Georgia with her late grandparents Reno Mullinax &
Nannie Mullinax where she completed her elementary and high school
education. She married in her early 20's and eventually made
her home in Phoenix, AZ.
Being an entrepreneur at heart she created a very successful
promotions company called DiamondBack Promotions and also was a
Norwex consultant, supplying sustainable cleaning products to
clients nationwide.
However, Linda's deepest love was reserved for God and the River of
Life Church in Phoenix, AZ where she was a member for more than 30
years. Passionate about caring for others, Linda was actively involved
in River of Life's Urban Outreach, IHelp, Women’s Ministry, Food
Ministry and more. All of these ministries help serve the community
and provide comfort to the less fortunate.
Linda loved her home and considered it her sanctuary for she and her
three feline companions. She was always willing to provide shelter to
anyone in need.
Linda is survived by her sister
Connie Hipps of Seneca, South Carolina and many loving cousins.
