Keith Lewis Gillespie, 52, Loving father, Son, Brother and friend, lost his battle with cancer on November
21, 2018. He was surrounded by family at HonorHealth Hospital, Scottsdale, AZ.
Keith was born to Linda and Ronald Rolen, in Centerville, IL on October 20, 1966. On January 21, 1974,
at the age of 7, he and three of his brothers were legally adopted, by Curtis and Shirley Gillespie who
lived in Caseyville, IL. They moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1985. A year later, Keith also moved and
remained in AZ.
Keith was married to Melissa Ryan for a short time. Together, they had a son, Timothy Lewis Gillespie,
born on November 19, 1992.
Keith’s spirit will live on in the lives of his Son, Timothy Lewis Gillespie; Tim’s fiancé Ashley Kane; His
Mom and Dad, Curtis and Shirley Gillespie; His siblings, Curtis Gillespie II (Beth Gillespie), Cindy Payne
(Troy Payne), Kathryn Mazzocoli (Rich Mazzocoli), Ronald Gillespie (Joyce Gillespie), Scott Gillespie, Jeff
Gillespie (Robert Macz), William Gillespie, and Jerry Anderson, (Jennifer Anderson).
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, biological step/half siblings and many friends.
Keith cherished his family and friends. He had a way of making each person feel special. He had a sense
of humor and liked to make us smile. He collected owls and loved to share photos of the expensive cars
he got to drive at work. Keith took pride in his work and loved working for One Armor where they
supported him in many ways while going through his battle with cancer.
