We sadly say goodbye to our precious, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We lost our beloved Fontella (Terri) Lassley Rockvam born October 13th, 1927 and passed on November 13th, 2025 at age 98. Her family meant everything to her, and she was also a loyal friend to many who will miss her greatly.
Born in Missouri, Fontella grew up in Kingsburg, California, and at age 19, married Eugene C Rockvam (1919-1998) in Glendale, California in 1946. Soon after they settled in Fresno, California. Many years later as a widow, she moved back to Scottsdale, Arizona where she, Eugene and family had spent over 20 years previously.

Also 4 grandchildren: David E Rockvam, Lisa M Rockvam-Hunt, Douglas A Rockvam, Robert E Rockvam and 10 great-grandchildren all who loved their "Granny!" She is also survived by a sister Mary (Toni) Carty of Tempe, Arizona, and brother-in-law Jack C Huddleston of Fresno, California.
She proudly served her community in California with the Toys for Tots program and being of support to Eugene who served in the Lions Club in Fresno. An avid golfer, she accomplished a hole-in-one in Chula Vista California in the 1991. She and Eugene served the Arizona community as Leaders in the Lions Club/Lioness Club for many, many years of dedicated service to the blind.
