Barry Carlin
Obituary
Our dearest, Barry Carlin, age 63, living in Tempe, Arizona, passed away after many years of
battle with diabetes and other illnesses associated with diabetes on Monday, December 5,
2022.
Barry was born on February 1959, to Joseph and Elise Carlin in the Bronx, New York. After
Barry proudly graduated from New York School for the Deaf, Fanwood in the year 1977, he
went to Colorado.
Barry spent many wonderful years in Colorado, he had two beautiful deaf daughters, Sabra and
Selima. Eventually became the sweet, funny, and loving grandpa!
Barry was a man with a great sense of humor and an avid sports fan as he spends most of his
life playing sports, softball, volleyball, football, and bowling. He was a hardcore fan of the
Yankees and Broncos. He dedicated at least 20 years as an umpire for softball, and he was fun
to watch as a player and umpire.
The virtual memorial services will be announced at further notice and in lieu of flowers, funeral
expenses can be made to Sabra Taylor and Selima Carlin.
He will be missed by family, friends, and loved ones. Run free, like a wolf~
