Augustine Jesus Soto Jr.

Augustine Jesus Soto Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 58, on November 8th, 2019. Augustine was born on June 8th, 1961 in Tempe, Az. He is survived by his father Augustine Soto Sr; his son, Daniel Matthew Soto; his daughters, Andrea Oviedo and Mercedes Leon; his grandchildren, Izaiah, Juliette, Augustine Joshua, Trinity and Monroe. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Soto; his grandson, Alexander, his sister Lupe, and the mother of his children Helen De La Cruz.

Augustine was a loving father, grandpa, and a friend to many. He was a teacher of all things, full of wisdom and knowledge. He taught by example and faithfully lived his values. He was strong in mind, heart and spirit. Augustine relished the good and simple things in life, including spending time with his kids and grandchildren. His faithfullness to the important people in his life could be seen from a mile away. He always listened with an open heart and judgement free mind. He was extremely funny and unique like no other. He was very giving, never greedy; from sharing his home, giving you food off his plate, the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. 

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but always remembered.
