Manny was born on February 21st, 1939 in Chandler, Arizona to Cay Gonzales and Edwarda Medina. Manny died with dignity and returned to God on March 9th, 2018. Manny was preceded in death by his loving wife Olivia Gonzales. His generous spirit will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Carla Spector; his grandson Ezra Spector; his brother John Estrada and many other relatives and friends.
Manny served his country through the National Guard and US Navy aboard the USS Midway. Manny was a City of Mesa employee and retired after 19 years as an electrician.
Manny enjoyed dancing; listening to the oldies and the blues; watching westerns and mysteries; discussing politics; reading philosophy, sci-fi and spending time with his family and friends. People closest to Manny knew him for his big smile, sense of humor and kindness. Manny was no stranger to helping others. Manny always opened his heart to strangers and gave of himself freely.
The memorial service will be held Thursday March 22nd, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at All Options Funeral Home; 1525 W. University Dr. # 102 Tempe, AZ 85281.
