Josie Dominguez was born May 2, 1965 in Phoenix, Arizona to Shirley and Robert Dominguez. Josie was a mother to Robert Dominguez, Manny Dominguez, Philip Ortega Jr. and Katrina Ortega. She was a sister to Veronica Thompson, Roberta Dominguez, Sharon Tarango, Lavette Hooke and Joe Tarango.

Josie loved her children. She had a special bond with each of them. They were her pride and joy. The only thing she was prouder of was her grandchildren, she was heard constantly telling stories, showing pictures and speaking very highly of them, each felt like they were Nana’s favorite!

Josie had such a sense of humor and loved a funny story and good joke. She loved to cook for her kids and her family looked forward to Thanksgiving every year just to taste her cooking and famous stuffing.

Josie was a bold woman of faith with so much wisdom, and was the rock of her family. You could count on her to give an ear to listen, a word of encouragement and was quick to pray. She knew her Bible and studied it well.

She was a caring and loving Mother and Nana. She leaves a strong legacy of Love, Faith and Perseverance. She will be deeply missed. We love you Mom!

Josie Dominguez is survived by her son and his family Manny and Jackie Dominguez along with their children Bobby and Jacquelyn Dominguez, her son Philip Ortega Jr and his children RoseAmirah and Justino Ortega, her daughter Katrina Ortega and her children Emmanuel and Lianna Valdez. Also, her granddaughter Ariana Dominguez from her son Robert Dominguez as well as her childrens father Philip Ortega.

 She is proceeded in death by her eldest son Robert Dominguez, parents Shirley and Robert Dominguez and younger sister Sharon Tarango.
