Cecilia Grove

In loving memory of Cecilia Grove, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 in Gilbert, AZ. She was born on March 25, 1963 in El Paso, TX to Guadalupe Torres and Manuel Torres Sr., deceased. Her siblings include sisters Sylvia Yarrito, Joan Rivera, and brother Manuel Torres, deceased. She was married and had four children; Yvonne Macias, with whom she is now joined with our Lord in heaven, and survived children Daniel Macias, Cecilia Martinez, Antonio Ernesto Prieto, and 15 beautiful grandchildren. She was fun loving, open hearted, and compassionate with children and animals.

Cecilia grew up in El Paso, Texas. attended El Paso High School and was in the Varsity Band. She also lived in Kansas, Colorado and California. However, the place she ultimately called home was Arizona.

Cecilia had a love for life, she enjoyed making people smile and laugh. "She had an incredible ability to bring joy to everyone. Some of the most important things to her were her family, friends and her pets, especially her dog Jack (Chinese Crested) and her sphynx, Kris. She will be missed but we are blessed to know she is now with our Lord in Paradise. We ask for prayers to her soul.

The services will be on Tuesday, July 10, from 7 pm to 9 pm at All Options Funeral Home,1525 W University Dr #102, Tempe, AZ 85281.

Her mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 11 at 11:00 am at 1730 W Guadalupe Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202.
