"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." (2 Corinthians 1:3)

Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Kathy and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I loved when he would teach at Terry Riggle's Hawaiian Kempo class in Lenexa. He and Terry promoted me to 1st and 2nd degree Black. I learned so much from him. He was truly a wonderful person.

My sincerest condolences.

Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences. For more scriptural encouragement please go to www.jw.org.

I have fond memories of when I lived in Quantico where it took me 6 months of training with Bill earning my yellow belt and fishing all throughout the state of Virginia with him. I still brag to my two son's, both in the Marines that I know this ex-Marine "who knows way more Karate than anyone else" and is the kindest and most gentle individual I've ever known. I became a little concerned when I messaged Bill a few weeks ago through my Facebook as to whether or not he had seen my post's of my 2nd Marine graduating from Paris Island in September and I hadn't heard anything back. This world truly lost a decent human being. With deepest sympathies. / Linwood

I always looked up to my brother Bill and the life he led. He touched so many lives and was a wonderful father and husband. Bill's love will always live on in the memories shared. I remember when he was in Vietnam serving his country and we would watch the TV for his name, hoping it would never appear - praying that he would make it home safely. I remember when he would come home to visit Mom, Carrie, Nettie and I to take us for milkshakes and make us smile and laugh. Bill, we will forever miss your voice and beautiful smile. May you rest in peace with the rest of our family in heaven. I know you will be watching over us, and listening to our prayers. You will be missed dearly.

Dear Kathy and Family, sending my love and prayers your way. You will always be my family. Stay strong and keep his spirit going. Love you.

Kathy and family,

My heart just breaks for you. Hanshi was certainly a wonderful man. I didn't have much time studying martial arts with him but what time I did have was certainly something I will never forget. My prayers are with you.

To Kathy Stacey, and Michelle, I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and dad. He lived a great life and from all the pictures I see of him, he was happy and made those around him happy. You guys will miss him so much, but I know Richard and Grace are rejoicing in having him with them now. Be comforted in that. All my love. Peggy

I won't say anything you don't already now. Someone like Bill may only come once in a generation. I was very fortunate to call him my instructor but mostly because I could call him my friend. His picture is at our dojo so he will always be with us. Our deepest condolences, we send our love and our prayers.

Kathy,

I don't know what to say Bill was instrumental in helping me achieve one of my Life goals.

I know he has gone to a better place, but the world we live will be a little less bright for the lack of his joyous attitude and infectious smile.

On that day when Jesus calls us all home I will be anxiously waiting to see Bill again and hear what he has been working on now.
