Karl, William Randolph Anthony Karl Bill Karl passed on 07/08/17 at Dobson Hospice after a lengthy illness. Born in Baltimore, MD on 05/30/46, one of five children, he moved to Arizona in 2005 with his wife and companion of 20 years, Victoria E Karl.  Bill viewed Westerns growing up and hungered for the more open plains and was not disappointed, deciding to settle in Mesa in 2006.

Bill was a multi talented individual and loved to solve puzzles. He often slept on an issue and awoke with a workable solution. He excelled in a variety of occupations which complemented his final career as an insurance appraiser/adjuster, specializing in all aspects of commercial transportation.

Bill was known by some friends back East as, "Third Generation Bill".

He is survived by his best friend and wife, Victoria and only son, Steven (Ashlan), Stepson Jonathan Parr (Nicole)  and their two children, Stepdaughter Elizabeth Parr and sisters, Theresa (Tess) Witt and Diana Ellis and brother Lawrence, and one niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Grace, his first wife, Judith Ann Schlereth, only daughter Christina, and sister Sharon Karl.

Bill's gift of humor, entertaining antidotes and spontaneity will be forever missed.

A memorial service will be held at 1525 W University Dr #102 Tempe, AZ 85281 on Saturday, 07/29/17 from 11 AM - 1 PM.
