Theresa Marie Heyer, 88, passed away February 23, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona after a brief illness.  She was born in Queens, New York on May 19, 1928, and graduated from Bryant High School, January 1946.  In 1948 she married John Heyer, Jr. and lived in Queens until they moved with their two sons to Tempe in 1961.

Mrs. Heyer is survived by her son John (Charlette) Heyer, Punta Gorda, Florida, five grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by John, her loving husband of 54 years, and her younger son, Steven.

Graveside services will be held March 22, 2017, 12:30 p.m., at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona,  23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Veteran’s organization of your choice.
