Robert Surmanek, born February 1, 1936 to Edward and Stephanie Surmanek in Brooklyn, New York.  Robert proceeded his late wife Marceline in August of 2013.  He is survived by his two brothers Richard, Jym, and his sister Pat; his daughter Kathleen, Grandsons Mark, Tommy, Granddaughter Jenny and Great Grandchildren Markie and Charlie 

He enjoyed making stained glass, woodworking and home remodeling.  He loved helping his many friends and family without hesitation.  He is known to put a smile on anyones face as he lit up the room, with his many jokes.  Everyone is invited to visit with Robert and his family at the church at 550 N. 35th Ave. in Phoenix.  A procession will escort friends and family to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona
