Dustin, I know how you felt about your Dad and Im so glad you got to spend time with him in his last days. It must have been so difficult for you all. Your family is on my mind and in my prayers. Kathy and Family,
Thank you for everyone's efforts which placed Chuck in our high school city for his father in laws birthday. Our reunion with all of you, Chuck eating at Minors, and the many stories, (some embellished over the years) gives me comfort and smiles as I must accept his passing. Yes, he was certainly a man of integrity. How fitting, since the only thing we really take with us is our integrity. I know Chuck will already have groups of people eating his special receipts and creating noise with their laughter. I am grateful to be his friend, but I am more grateful my friend has the devotion of you Kathy, and the love and respect from his sons.
Everyone knows how they now stand with Chuck, he always let us know.
Rest and strength to you; comfort and calmness to Chuck's spirit.

Kathy, Ron and I are so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. Ron has such fond memories of Chuck and one thing is for sure, he always kept him laughing. He also talks about all the crazy stuff that went on at the Garfield house - that was before our time. Bless you and keep your boys close. They will be your source of comfort. Love and hugs from us.

Kathy and family, I was so sad to read this news of the passing of Chuck. It's been many years, but I have so many fond memories of one " Wild and crazy" guy! What a personality he was blessed with. Kathy, I know the caregiver role. I admire how you stood together through the good and bad times. Chuck was a lucky guy to have such a great partner. Kathy, I did not know Chuck, other than by name during our years in the valley. I have only gotten to know him from your posts Kathy. From those I saw the love and smiles his kids and grandchildren brought him. Kathy please share a memory with the grandkids as often as possible.
